What Dubai Islands are

Dubai Islands are the northernmost man-made islands on Dubai's coast. They sit at the mouth of Dubai Creek, opposite historic Deira, and were formerly called Deira Islands.

Under Nakheel's master plan the islands are becoming a low-density resort destination: villas and mid-rise apartments, beachfront hotels, golf, marinas and lots of greenery. Island A is partly under construction, and the concepts for islands B–E have been updated to a resort format.

Are Dubai Islands and Deira Islands the same?

Yes. The islands off Deira were renamed Dubai Islands; the master developer is Nakheel.

What is already built?

Under the master plan, island A is planned and partly under construction, while islands B–E have been repositioned to a low-density resort format. Check each project's status in PromptEstates cards.

How do Dubai Islands differ from Palm Jumeirah?

The Palm is established and pricier. Dubai Islands are a new area with beaches, golf and marinas, more projects under construction and a lower entry price.
